We have been working hard to raise funds over the past several months and will be doing so for the next six months for one purpose. That is to provide financial grants and support to county parties in The 134 and rural Texas during the 2022 election.
The criteria for grants are in the final stages of approval and we will start accepting applications on May 1, 2022. Our grants are awarded directly to county parties for county and precinct level support for candidates and for voter turnout projects. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to spend all over The 134 and in rural counties outside The 134. Rural means every county that has fewer than 500 people per square mile. That covers a lot of territory.
We will be publishing the criteria for applicants and information about the application process on our website and social media during the coming weeks. So, start getting your plans together and check back here.
Of course spending money requires raising money. We cannot do any of this without your help. If you already are a donor, thank you for your generosity If you aren't already a donor to The 134 PAC, please consider giving just $25 per month for the next six months to The Joshua Fund. That is just $150 dollars. This is all we ask. We are a 100% volunteer organization with almost no overhead. That means that 100% of your contributions to this fund will go directly to the county parties where it can make the most difference.
The Joshua Fund is our dedicated fund that goes to county parties to help them with projects, to supporting local candidates and build the long term infrastructure they need to get out the vote on election day November 8, 2022. You can donate on ActBlue by clicking the donate button below.
