Forget the National Noise. Get Local!

Stuart Williams

Listen up, Texas Democrats. We're tired of the big-city whispers and the echo chamber of national politics. It's time to turn our attention to the heart of Texas, where the real change is happening – in dusty county courthouses, on dirt roads, and at kitchen tables across rural West Texas.

We've been told for years that rural Texas is a lost cause, a wasteland of red. But let me tell you, the truth is a lot more dynamic. It's time to stop writing off our neighbors, our friends, our fellow Texans. It's time to fight for every vote, every inch of ground, every single county.

And how do we do that? We don't win by sending out mass emails with fancy slogans. We don't win by throwing money at national campaigns. We win by putting boots on the ground, building relationships, and supporting the local heroes who are fighting for our values right here in West Texas.

We need to stop focusing on the flashy headlines and start investing in the unsung heroes – the county commissioners, county clerks, and school board members who are making a real difference in the lives of everyday Texans. These are the people who understand the unique needs of our communities, the people who are working on solutions to our local problems, the people who are truly fighting for our future.

Imagine a Texas Panhandle where local control is the norm, where rural values are respected, and where community matters more than ever. Imagine a Texas Panhandle where Democrats are not just a name on a ballot but a tangible force for positive change.

We can make this vision a reality, but it takes action. It takes investment. It takes engagement. That's why I'm urging you to join us at the Democracy In Action fundraiser at the Amarillo Civic Center Grand Plaza on August 31st at 6pm.

This is not just about electing Democrats, this is about empowering our communities and ensuring that every voice in West Texas is heard.

So come out, meet your fellow Democrats, and let's show the world that rural Texas is ready for change and that we're going to win, not just for the sake of our party, but for the sake of our future.

Together, we can make a difference.

We're training volunteers on how to network voters wherever they live throughout Texas! We need Democrats to vote all the way down the ballot. https://www.mobilize.us/blueactiondems/event/599721/
